Brought up on the South Shore of Boston, Elena now resides in Elmira, NY where she works full time as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Formation for The Parish of The Most Holy Name of Jesus. She is particularly attracted to contemplative and mystic theology, with special attention to the Carmelite saints, St. Catherine of Siena, and Julian of Norwich. Elena holds an M.A. in Linguistics from Ohio University and an M.F.A. in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
